As of today, they're here. I'm looking forward to sending these new Christmas stamp sets on their way, they're my personal favorites to date. I hope they each find a happy home. Bonus -- each set is priced at just $10, and you get at least 4 stamps for that, more depending on the set.

It has been a really long time. A few years ago I had to let Green Grass Stamps more or less drop off my radar as my life became more filled with work and young children. I even came close to giving up on it entirely more than once. But it was always there in the back of my mind, one of those ideas you can never quite let go of, or more accurately, will not let go of you.

I love designing and I love rubber stamping. Combining the two was a dream of mine, and I think I'm destined to have my path intertwined with Green Grass Stamps for the foreseeable future. I'm really happy about that. I want to create and share fun, pretty, use-them-again-and-again stamps, the kind of stamps I want handy when I'm making cards or scrapbook pages. So without further ado, my debut (comeback) sheet:

It's inspired by the classic song, and also by my daughter who likes it sung to her at bedtime... so this set will always make me think of her. Here is a breakdown of the stamps you'll be getting:

Each of the sentiments are 3" and are designed to fit inside the label stamp, which is 3 3/4" x 1 1/4". The cloud and sun each have solid and outline components, and the fact that they won't quite line up is a big part of their charm. I love that offset printing look (I'm sure there's a more accurate name for it) that calls to mind children's books from the mid-1900's.

And then there are the faces. A happy one, and a super-happy one. I love those squinched-up eyes! Since they're separate stamps, you have some say in the cloud/sun expressions:
